**Job Description:**

As a Software Procurement Manager, you'll manage software agreements and services across the enterprise. You'll lead cross-functional teams to select products and suppliers, negotiate contracts, reduce costs, and minimize risk. You'll partner with stakeholders, draft and negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.


- Support efforts to enhance the customer experience.

- Analyze software cost models and provide recommendations.

- Lead negotiation and contract management for large-scale software agreements.

- Strategize with business and technical owners to understand organizational needs.

- Lead cross-functional teams to develop supplier requirements.

- Research and develop supply sources.

- Leverage supply market knowledge for strategic supplier selection.

- Evaluate financial stability of suppliers.

- Perform business analysis focusing on total cost of ownership.

- Seek cost savings opportunities and lead efforts to achieve them.

- Manage supplier performance and act as an escalation point.

- Develop strategic category plans based on business goals and market analysis.

- Manage change management phases and stakeholder groups through technology adoption.


**Must Have Skills/Certifications/Technologies:**

- 5+ years in IT Software procurement (strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, strategy development with stakeholders and vendors).

- Experience negotiating software contracts with various vendors.

- Ideally familiar with Ariba (or similar tools).

- Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with diverse personalities and business units.

- Strong communication skills.

- Tenure in previous roles is important.


**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.

- Office environment.
