Job Description:

• The Value Stream Programs Process Support Specialist will assist with tracking, executing, and managing Lean Projects on the Value Stream Team.
• They will partner with Value Stream teams to identify and act on innovative ideas and the industrialization of them.
• A core focus will be on monitoring and driving lean standard work and product quality validation(s).

Responsibilities:

• Validate and mistake proof existing Value Stream programs which improve field performance.
• Participate in Knowledge Transfer sessions to learn applicable and relative Value Stream processes which will be worked on.
• Attending meetings (largely remote via Teams) with Value Stream to communicate actions, status, and recommendations.
• My own metrics related to the stress testing of the Primavera to Live Outage industrialization process and other Live Outage application initiatives as assigned.
• Partner with Field Core Value Stream Programs and Technology teams to identify and coordinate corrective actions needed to increase quality of processes.
• Partner with the Value Stream teams to ensure programs, tools and projects are effective.
• May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive Value Stream vision and align with the Organization's core values.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
• Proficient with use of Smartsheet and use of custom Web Based applications.
• English proficiency required.

Desired Characteristics:

• Knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 Project Management software
• Experience with lean methodologies with emphasis on Poka-Yoke because that is what it's all about.
• Excellent communication and management skills and strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of employees.
• General knowledge of power generation outage maintenance is a plus.
• Process/Program analysis experience desired.
• Strong project planning and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Very results-oriented
• Work well both independently and in a team environment, including in remote work settings.
• Flexible work hours, largely aligned to EST.
