We are seeking an eager individual with relevant Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering experience that can take on the role of Director of Engineering. We have a client base of architects, developers and contractors who build predominantly high-end custom homes (10,000 square feet and more) and commercial projects in the Rocky Mtn Region. The work environment is fast paced; however, our culture strongly values a good work/ life balance. Must be authorized to work in the United States and live in our market.


Typical responsibilities:


  • Production of plans and specifications.
  • Provide technical input to other projects within the firm.
  • Manage all Rader Engineering staff.
  • Support with transition from existing Director of Engineering to new.
  • Business development, proposal preparations, and fee development.
  • Typically, will be working on multiple projects for multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Create and monitor scope, schedules and budget for projects.
  • Interact with other disciplines as needed.

Required skills/qualifications:


  • Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Fundamental of Engineering (FE) certificate.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with clients, regulatory agencies and co-workers.
