Job description

A unique opportunity to work closely with the leadership of a fast-growing, mission-driven children’s apparel company. This is a generalist internship, where you will experience a variety of functions essential in an early stage, growing apparel brand – including social media, logistics, catalog and store management, sales, product design, etc. You will work directly with the founder and CEO of the brand on a variety of projects, including photoshoots and customer engagement and outreach. WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE AN INTERN WHO CAN START AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. This is a paid internship. The role is hybrid, so you will be working from home and also part time in our Leesburg office.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Founder as she designs her next collection
  • Help coordinate and manage a diverse set of manufacturers and suppliers
  • Learn and/or gain experience with the latest e-commerce technologies, including Shopify and Klaviyo
  • Help develop marketing content, including email and display advertisements
  • Learn and contribute to the company’s order management, fulfillment and logistics operation
  • Help build strategies and contribute to social media, particularly Instagram and Facebook
  • Help organize and manage photo shoots for new collections
  • Assist with inventory management and quality control


Qualifications

  • Someone who loves fashion, especially children’s apparel
  • Someone eager to learn and eager to pitch in, with strong positive energy
  • Familiarity with ecommerce and email marketing a plus, including platforms like Shopify and Klaviyo
  • Familiarity with social media, especially Instagram/Facebook and commerce on Instagram a plus
  • Efficient time management and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication skills as you will be working as part of a team
  • Recent college grad or currently in school as a sophomore, junior or senior
  • Position is 3-5 days a week, with some work from him and some work in our office in Leesburg, VA
