Position Summary: Mid-level associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join an esteemed Labor & Employment Practice Group. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in labor and employment law and litigation, with a preference for candidates who have gained experience in a large law firm environment. Additionally, this position may entail involvement in general business litigation matters. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional drafting and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in meeting deadlines, and adeptness in client interaction. This role presents a remarkable opportunity to become an integral member of a dynamic labor and employment practice, offering avenues for professional growth, increased responsibility, and meaningful client engagement. We are particularly interested in candidates seeking a long-term commitment with prospects for advancement. Membership to the Florida Bar is a prerequisite for this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a diverse range of labor and employment law matters, including but not limited to, employment discrimination, wage and hour disputes, employment contracts, and workplace policies.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, and provide comprehensive legal analysis and advice to clients.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations, and effectively advocate on their behalf.
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and partners within the Labor & Employment Practice Group, as well as across other practice areas, to deliver innovative and strategic legal solutions to clients.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, offering proactive legal counsel and guidance to address their unique needs and objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar, in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in labor and employment law and litigation, preferably gained in a large law firm setting.
  • Exceptional drafting and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and credibility with clients and colleagues alike.
