Responsibilities:

The Network Security/Firewall engineer will be responsible for the design, administration, and management of Palo Alto and FortiGate Firewalls using Centralized Panorama and FortiManger. Will be tasked with the following

· Firewall Rules clean up, Firewall Optimization (NATS, Policies and Routing).

· Identify gaps in network infrastructure security, working with internal teams on timely remediation and recommending future improvements

· Assist in the design and development of network implementations.

· Responsible for maintaining a resilient and secure firewall infrastructure, utilizing Palo Alto and Fortinet hardware.

· Create and conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.


Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

· Proven experience working with Palo Alto Networks products and FortiGate's.

· Strong understanding of network security concepts, protocols, and technologies.

· Hands-on experience with firewall administration, VPN technologies, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing and Switching protocols etc.). Familiarity with FIREMON environments is a plus.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

· Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
