Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Technician

Full-Time, Permanent position

Wichita, Kansas; Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and maintain customer aircraft.
  • Perform and document work in accordance with manuals and industry regulations.
  • Follow general work requirements for shop, hangar, and factory environments.
  • Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in 5-S workplace organization activities.
  • Operate ground support equipment as needed.
  • Assist with aircraft maintenance at off-site locations as required.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
  • Help with fueling, de-fueling, engine removal/installation, and component repair.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience, or substantiated equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills regarding aircraft status.
  • Must own a basic set of hand tools and demonstrate inventory control.
  • Ability to acquire Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications.
  • Willingness to work unscheduled overtime, including weekends and holidays.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge.
  • Corporate jet experience is preferred.
  • Basic PC skills required.
