Role Description

This is a full-time Welder/Fabricator role on-site at Williams Industrial Service, Inc. located in Bowling Green, OH.

Duties:


WELD

read prints

prep steel

double check for square and bolt location

involves consistency


Use and knowledge on how to use:

welder, set up and operate

clamps


GENERAL

mechanical assembly


FAB

Read prints

check for square and bolt location

use tape measure

marking utensils

Use level and square

layout work

clamps

hand power tools


OPERATE

welder

plasma arc cutter

oxy-ace torch cutting

overhead crane

forklift

powered hand tools

drill press

metal cutting band saw

Ironworker

mechanical assembly


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in welding and fabrication
  • Experience with welding and fabrication equipment, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders, saws, and grinders
  • Experience with reading, interpreting, and following blueprints
  • Experience with cutting and shaping materials
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in welding and fabrication
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting and follow supervisor instructions
