Project Overview:
Our client is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support existing CapX projects that are mid-flight. The role involves planning, managing, and executing business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle, including discovery workshops, scope definition, requirements gathering, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end business analysis for IT projects.
- Facilitate workshops, define project scope, and document requirements.
- Create and validate workflow models; capture current and define future states.
- Collaborate with business users to document business cases and KPIs.
- Form and lead cross-functional teams; work closely with the PMO.
- Conduct impact and cost/benefit analyses; perform business process re-engineering.
- Provide guidance on best practices and support the development of a BA Center of Excellence.
- Utilize data analysis tools to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop tools, templates, and reports to support BA functions.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis within an IT environment.
- Proficiency in Agile/SDLC project management and various software development frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, SAFe).
- Strong experience with business process re-engineering, cost/benefit analysis, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of industry best practices (e.g., IIBA BABOK) and financial concepts (TCO, ROI).
Additional Information:
- Ability to adapt to client’s preference for onsite work while managing remote options.
- Demonstrated capability in leading targeted discovery sessions and supporting cross-functional workgroups.
