Must Haves

  • Master’s degree
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of New Jersey
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients

Plusses

  • Certification in cardiology or relevant specialty preferred.
  • Experience in cardiology or a related field.

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our cardiology team. The APP will work collaboratively with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical exams and obtain detailed medical histories.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as EKGs, stress tests, and echocardiograms.
  • Assist in or perform procedures such as catheterizations and other interventional cardiology procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists.
  • Educate patients and their families about heart health, medications, lifestyle changes, and preventive measures.
  • Provide follow-up care, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Stay current with advancements in cardiology and participate in continuing education opportunities.
