We are building out a new Business Intelligence Team that you will be apart of to create advanced reports, generate business insights, and build new data platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

  • PowerBI Administration: Manage and administer PowerBI environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues within PowerBI, ensuring seamless operation and user satisfaction.
  • Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models using STAR Modeling and Snowflake Schema techniques.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Engage with stakeholders, translating technical concepts into non-technical language.
  • SQL Skills: Utilize SQL for data querying, manipulation, and integration.
  • Descriptive Statistics: Apply statistical methods to analyze data, identify outliers, and ensure data integrity.
  • Space Management: Manage data storage and space within Snowflake, optimizing performance and cost.
  • Direct Querying: Implement direct querying from Snowflake into PowerBI for real-time data access.
  • Report Refactoring: Repurpose and refactor existing reports to improve performance and usability.
  • Aggregation Handling: Address and resolve issues related to data aggregation and slow-performing dashboards.
  • Data Model Reengineering: Recreate or repurpose existing data models to enhance efficiency and performance.

Environment: PowerBI, SQL, Python, PySpark, Snowflake, Descriptive Statistics, and more


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in PowerBI development and administration.
  • Experience with Snowflake.
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work hybrid in Orlando, FL.
