Job Summary:
The HR Generalist oversees daily HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, benefits, and policy enforcement.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Tracks training compliance and facilitates hiring processes.
- Conducts background checks and administers orientation programs.
- Manages HR programs like payroll, benefits, and performance reviews.
- Handles employee inquiries and participates in disciplinary meetings.
- Ensures legal compliance and stays updated on HR trends.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in HR laws and MS Office Suite.
- Comfortable with HRIS systems.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of HR generalist experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP certification a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional lifting and ability to navigate office spaces.
