Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the supply chain and logistics operations by analyzing data, managing inventory, and improving transportation efficiency. You will work closely with various teams to ensure timely delivery, cost reduction, and process improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Analysis:
  • Analyze and interpret logistics data related to shipping, warehousing, inventory, and transportation.
  • Identify trends and areas for improvement in cost efficiency, delivery speed, and overall supply chain performance.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor logistics performance and identify opportunities for process optimization.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Track inventory levels, stock movement, and order fulfillment to ensure optimal inventory management and prevent shortages or overstock.
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to streamline storage and distribution processes.
  • Provide data-driven insights for demand forecasting and inventory replenishment strategies.
  • Transportation Optimization:
  • Analyze transportation routes, costs, and carrier performance to identify opportunities for reducing shipping costs and improving delivery times.
  • Work with third-party logistics providers and carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Optimize routing, mode selection, and load planning to improve transportation efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies in the logistics process and recommend improvements.
  • Implement best practices in logistics operations to enhance performance and reduce operational costs.
  • Lead or assist in logistics-related projects aimed at improving supply chain efficiency.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies related to shipping, transportation, and inventory management.
  • Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting logistics performance, cost analysis, and improvement recommendations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Access, or specialized logistics software.
  • Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data-driven insights to management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
