Company: Medium sized consultancy, spanning across the Southeast regions.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years design, development, engineering and construction of Transmission Line projects
  • EIT
  • PE desired
  • AutoCAD, PLS-CADD/POLE, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam (desired)


Responsibilities:


This position requires the candidate to work within a multidisciplinary team for the design of transmission lines. Key responsibilities include:


  • Delivering accurate and comprehensive designs that adhere to industry standards, specifications, and safety codes, ensuring excellent constructability.
  • Coordinating and managing multiple projects simultaneously, providing detailed design packages for use by technical staff, drafting personnel, clients, and contractors.
  • Collaborating closely with other Power Delivery departments, including Substation Engineering and Protection & Control (P&C) Engineering.
  • Resolving site queries, attending site meetings, and performing site inspections during the construction phase of projects.
  • Supporting the technical and economic evaluation of transmission design studies and preparing necessary calculations, drawings, and feasibility studies.
