Kerusso has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented Digital Asset Management (DAM) Administrator to join our team. The DAM Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the organization, maintenance, and distribution of digital assets within our DAM platform. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of digital asset management principles, excellent technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

ABOUT THE POSITION


The Digital Asset Management (DAM) Administrator will be responsible for the following key areas of responsibility and should posses the following qualifications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the digital asset management system, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of digital assets.
  • Organize digital assets according to established taxonomy and metadata standards for efficient retrieval and usage.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their digital asset needs and requirements.
  • Configure user permissions, access controls, and workflows within the DAM platform to align with organizational policies and security standards.
  • Train users on how to effectively search, retrieve, and utilize digital assets within the DAM system.
  • Monitor DAM system performance and troubleshoot any technical issues or errors that arise.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital asset management, recommending enhancements or new features to improve DAM system functionality.
  • Conduct regular audits of digital assets to ensure compliance with copyright, licensing, and usage rights.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to users encountering difficulties with the DAM system.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to implement system upgrades, patches, or integrations with other software applications.


Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of metadata standards, taxonomy, and digital asset workflows.
  • Proficiency with DAM platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, Canto, Media Valet, Bynder, Widen Collective, or similar systems.
  • Excellent technical skills, including knowledge of database management, file formats, and digital asset manipulation tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage large volumes of digital assets effectively.
  • Outstanding ability to communicate effectively and build rapport, coupled with the skill to inspire and unite individuals through ideas. Proficient in collaborating with stakeholders across all echelons of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with copyright laws, licensing agreements, and digital rights management is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in digital asset management or related fields are a plus.

Required Education or Years of Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Library Science, Computer Science, Business, Marketing or related field.
  • Proven experience working with digital asset management systems, preferably in a similar role.

Location:

The role is offered as Remote/Hybrid, meaning that the primary work can be performed remotely, however the ability for periodic travel to our company offices will be required. Kerusso is headquartered in BERRYVILLE, AR. 1 HR east of Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, and Bentonville, and 45 minutes south of Branson, MO.
