We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team, with a primary focus on payroll, 401k administration, travel coordination, and other Human Resources activities. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of HR functions related to compensation, benefits, and general office management. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of payroll processes, benefits administration, tax, and a proactive approach to supporting overall employee well-being.


Key Responsibilities:


Payroll Management:

  • Oversee and manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll-related accounts.
  • Ensure proper tax setup and filing
  • Address payroll inquiries and discrepancies promptly.


401k Administration:

  • Administer and oversee the company's 401k program, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate communication and education efforts to enhance employee understanding of the 401k plan.


Benefits Administration:

  • Support in benefits administration, including health insurance, leave policies, and other employee benefits.


Travel Coordination:

  • Manage travel-related activities, including booking accommodations, transportation, and handling travel expenses for Nixon.
  • Implement and enforce travel policies to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance.


General Office Activities:

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations and coordinate administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to optimize office efficiency and employee experience.


Compliance and Reporting:

  • Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all HR functions.
  • Generate reports and analyses related to payroll, benefits, and other HR metrics.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR roles with a focus on payroll, benefits, and office administration.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and benefits administration.
  • Experience with 401k administration and compliance.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification CCP preferred.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Comfortable presenting to a group.
  • Proficient in HRIS and payroll software (ADP).
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite, specifically (advanced level) in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of travel coordination tools and platforms.
