About Position:
Role: Systems Engineer
Experience: 5+ Years
Location : Redmond, Washington, United States
Work Type : Full time

What You’ll Do:
- Design, set up and maintain test fixtures to verify software on real hardware.
- Utilize software and scripts for operations to keep things running and highly available.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware problems with pre-production equipment.
- Contribute to engineering efforts from design to implementation, solving complex technical challenges around developer and engineering productivity and velocity especially as it relates to rapid test iteration.
- Design and build advanced automated build, test and release infrastructure.
- Drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability.
Basic qualifications :
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development or IT experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in any of the following: test lab support, operational hardware support
- 2+ years of experience with test automation, debugging, building test tools and testing frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience working with Linux based systems.
- 2+ years of experience in computer networking (admin level).
Preferred qualifications :
- Highly autonomous, very detail oriented, and willing to learn new skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to interact efficiently with peers and customers is required.
- The desire and ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment is essential.
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, evaluate alternatives and develop processes and tools as needed to support the organization.
- Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools and experience in developing product test harnesses and instrumenting products to gather test results.
- Experience creating and expanding powerful automated testing tools and frameworks.
