About the Job

The Credentialing Specialist provides client-specific credentialing services for our healthcare providers. This position is responsible for data entering, gathering, and primary source verifications of healthcare provider information, which includes in-depth, detailed, or challenging research of information.

What You’ll Do

· Contacts primary sources (e.g., hospitals, licensing boards, etc.) to verify and gather healthcare practitioner information

· Research verification information via the Internet and other electronic and hardcopy databases

· Maintains and updates provider files in compliance with company policy

· Reviews provider information for accuracy and completeness

· Input provider documents into the databases

· Contacts provider to gather and update documentation for assignment

· Analyze medicals sent by explorer for compliance with standards; set up needed medicals for placement

· Retrieve results for background, fingerprints, education, employment, and medicals

· Set up additional testing as required by facility

· Send facility forms and modules, follow up with explorers for completion

· Completes additional projects as assigned by management

Required Qualifications

· 1 - 2 years of experience in credentialing

· Working knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook

· Working knowledge of the healthcare staffing industry preferred.

· Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills

· Proven success in a high-volume customer service or data entry field

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in regulations

· Professional level written and oral communication skills

· Strong attention to detail skills

Compensation

· $20-24/hr. + 10% Annual Bonus

· Weekly Pay
