Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role as a Medical Records Clerk at Ivera Group located in Lansdale, PA. The Medical Records Clerk will be responsible for the following:


  • Managing and organizing medical documents based on predetermined criteria.
  • Ensure that documents are filed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a systematic and organized filing system.
  • Retrieve requested documents promptly and accurately.
  • Keep a log of document requests and ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Responding to requests for medical records.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and ensure compliance with data protection policies.
  • Maintain security measures to safeguard sensitive documents.
  • Scan and digitize documents for electronic storage when required.
  • Manage electronic databases and ensure proper indexing of digital files.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 3+ years of file room experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in medical records management or related field is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and Health Information Management is a plus.
  • Excellent Phone Etiquette and Communication skills.
  • Proficient in Clerical Skills, such as data entry and record keeping.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and multi-tasker.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize workload and work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift approximately 35-50 lbs.
