Title: Grading Lab Technician

Openings: 2

PR: $19-$21/hr

Location: 25 44th Ave NE, Fridley, MN, 55421

*Initial training schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM – 3:00PM or 8:00AM - 4:00PM (typically lasts 1 week).

*Once training is complete, normal work schedule will move to a 12-hour 2-2-3 rotating cycle 6:00AM - 6:00PM.

The rotation will be 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, etc.

Duration: 6-month contract

Start Date: 7/8/24


Must-Haves:

- High School Diploma/GED

- Must be 18 years of age or older

-Proficiency in basic computer skills.

-Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

-Comfortable in lab or manufacturing environments.

-Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: Standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces.

-Willing and able to adhere to all safety standards and wear all necessary personal protective equipment.

-Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

In this fully onsite role, you will be responsible for preparing, processing, and examining grain in the grading lab, as well as providing support for flour testing in the analytical lab at the Fridley Mill. We will depend on you to:

-Perform prep and analysis on samples and data for both labs.

-Perform sanitation activities within the work area.

-Be flexible to support both labs depending on the needs for the day (at the discretion of the Senior Lab Technician).

-Be available for coverage in both labs.
