Required Education and Experience

Essential Functions

  • Maintain applicant flow by developing recruiting sources, processing candidates within the applicant tracking system, and collaborating with Recruitment Marketing for job ad placement and marketing as necessary
  • Review work orders and interact with customers regularly
  • Pre-screen, interview, hire, counsel, evaluate, discipline, and recommend employment status changes, including terminations
  • Consistently orient and onboard new associates to meet customer standards
  • Administer company policies and procedures, updating new hire orientations for new and current clients
  • Set up new pay and bill rates with management approval
  • Administer assessments as required by clients
  • Receive, process, and analyze work orders from customers
  • Process merit, tenure, and incentive increases
  • Participate in the MAU 5S program (if applicable)
  • Resolve customer invoice non-payment issues
  • Manage case files for injured employees, conducting accident investigations and completing worker’s compensation reports
  • Attend unemployment and workers' compensation hearings
  • Maintain excellent customer service by visiting client sites regularly
  • Keep a sufficient pool of candidates to ensure quick job order fulfillment


Supervisory Responsibility

  • While the Staffing Specialist is responsible for hiring, counseling, and terminating MAU contract Associates at client sites, this role does not include direct supervisory duties. Top performers excel as team players with strong mentoring skills.


Work Environment or Working Conditions

  • Working conditions vary based on customer facilities, including administrative and manufacturing environments. The role involves using standard office equipment like computers and phones, and occasionally interacting with manufacturing equipment and industrial vehicles. Environments may range from non-temperature controlled to GMP clean rooms.


Physical Demands

This position may require the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:Occasionally lift 5-15 lbs.
