Requirement:

  • The role requires a strong technical foundation in database systems and architecture, experience with Windows Server operating systems, and familiarity with SQL Server management tools and practices.
  • Additionally, the admin should have problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and strong communication capabilities to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server instances across various Windows Server environments, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security.
  • Administration of SQL Server databases which includes backup, restoration, performance tuning, and monitoring of system health and security.
  • Implementation and oversight of database policies, procedures, and standards, and ensuring compliance with data management regulations.
  • Collaboration with IT teams to optimize database systems, manage windows server environments, and contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
