Company Overview: We are seeking a skilled Drafter/Designer to join a leading company in the midstream Gas Processing industry that specializes in flexible heaters. The company is privately owned and the business is based on the belief of a servant mindset.

Position Overview: As a DrafterDesigner, you will play a pivotal role in translating engineering concepts into detailed technical drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate is skilled in SolidWorks and has previous experience in steel fabrication.

Pay: $45k - $85k (based on experience) + excellent benefits (health, dental, vision, retirement options) + professional development/training

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 40 hours/week | Start and end times are flexible (office hours are between 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.)

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for steel fabrication projects
• Determine project requirements via collaboration with Project Managers and Engineers
• Prepare fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and bill of materials (BOM) as well as modify existing drawings as needed
• Troubleshoot design issues and offer solutions
• Document drawings and revisions in an organized manner

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a draftsman with a strong background in SolidWorks
• Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred
• Previous experience in steel fabrication is preferred
• Knowledge of piping systems and pressure vessel design is highly desirable
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
