Nesco is looking for a Cisco Network Engineer to assist with a refresh on a 3 month contract. The hours are flexible to support the two campus' onsite in the Pleasantville, NY and Valhalla, NY areas.

The pay is $45 an hour on W2.

Our customer is a Cisco shop and will be upgrading 150-200 switches, cabling, and layering on a configuration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco networking equipment and a strong understanding of network design and infrastructure.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Cisco networking equipment (switches, routers, etc.).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Experience with network cabling and physical infrastructure.
• Ability to design and implement network layers and configurations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with specific experience in Cisco switch upgrades and network configuration.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
