Gallagher-Kaiser's Kais-AIR is a leader in the design, engineering, fabrication, installation, and service of modular industrial equipment. Providing a variety of modular custom and specialty air handling equipment, data centers, battery energy storage systems, modular operating theaters and more; we collaborate closely with our Kaiser Enterprise family of companies for this work.


We are hiring a talented and motivated technician to join our collaborative service team to champion preventive maintenance for our current site in Lordstown Ohio.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain working relationships with customers and vendors to assure efficient and prompt work execution.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks with thorough systems understanding to assure customer systems properly maintained.
  • Requires skill of analyzing possible control system malfunctions and determining appropriate repairs. Examples include troubleshooting system control components, field devices, sensor wiring, general input/output wiring and network/communication wiring/configuration and troubleshooting Mechanical equipment.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge and advanced abilities in use of PC and software (Basic and Automation).
  • Knowledge of control theory, sequencing, applications, and components.
  • Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot equipment
  • Effectively manage time and stay organized.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong written communication skills with keen eye for detail.
  • Must be able to read engineered drawings (Mechanical/Electrical/Controls).
  • Work independently

Position Type:

  • Ability for some travel


Preferred Credentials/Experience:

  • Building automation Programming/Integration experience [Siemens PLC Platform]
  • At least 5 years' experience working on HVAC equipment
  • Mechanical/Electrical/Controls experience
