Job Title: .NET Backend Developer (GCP + Kafka)Location: Onsite (Dallas / Southlake . TX)Job Type: Full Time Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled .NET Backend Developer with strong expertise in .NET Core, cloud-native development on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Kafka-based event streaming. The ideal candidate will design and build scalable backend services, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems supporting high-throughput data pipelines. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy backend services using .NET Core, C#, Web API, Microservices architecture.Build event-driven and real-time applications using Apache Kafka, pub/sub pipelines, and streaming frameworks.Develop cloud-native services leveraging GCP services such as Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Cloud Storage.Implement distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, and high-performance REST APIs.Collaborate with DevOps to design CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployment strategies.Work with relational and NoSQL databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Firestore.Ensure best practices for code quality, performance tuning, observability, and fault tolerance.Write unit tests, integration tests, and maintain API documentation.Troubleshoot issues across environments and deliver highly available backend systems. Required SkillsStrong expertise with .NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, Web API, MicroservicesHands-on experience with Kafka (Producer/Consumer, Topics, Partitions, Streams)Solid knowledge of GCP services — Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Cloud StorageExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build / Jenkins / GitHub Actions)Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, asynchronous processing, and messaging patternsDatabase experience — SQL Server, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, FirestoreHands-on API development, versioning, and performance optimizationExperience with logging/monitoring tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, ELKExcellent understanding of clean architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles Preferred SkillsExperience with Terraform or IaC for GCP resource provisioningKnowledge of gRPC, Redis, Memory Caching, and distributed caching solutionsExposure to CI/CD in GCP, Canary deployments, and blue/green deploymentsExperience in FinTech, Healthcare, Retail, or large-scale cloud environments
