Our Portland-based client is seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Developer well-versed in serverless architecture and proficient in Python programming. This role involves designing and developing solutions within agile scrum teams, collaborating closely with team members to translate business requirements into technical solutions. A proactive individual who can ramp up quickly and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment is required.


Position Responsibilities:

Design and develop solutions according to standards in targeted sprints within agile scrum teams.

Collaborate with team members to translate business requirements into technical requirements.

Complete the design, development, peer review, and unit testing of solutions.

Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs using Python.

Utilize AWS serverless cloud architecture and services including S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, IAM, and CloudFormation.

Manage and query data within Snowflake or other relational databases using SQL.

Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, solving complex problems and delivering outcomes efficiently.


Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, management, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in relevant roles.

Strong proficiency in Python programming language.

Solid understanding of AWS serverless cloud architecture, services, and deployment best practices.

Experience with no SQL databases like DynamoDB.

Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing data within Snowflake or other relational databases.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts.

AWS cloud certifications are a plus.
