Audiovisual Design Engineer

Location: Media, PA

We are currently seeking an Audiovisual Design Engineer for one of the top 3 AV integrators in the Northeast Dive into the heart of innovation as you lead the engineering implementation of client solutions, overseeing every aspect from system design to fabrication and installation. Your expertise will not only guide project management but also ensure seamless interaction with clients, delivering on their unique vision with precision and excellence. Additionally, you'll wield your technical prowess in pre-sales engineering, collaborating with account managers to craft bespoke solutions tailored to each customer's needs. Responsibilities:

• Post Sales Necessary, Pre Sales is a Plus
• Provide sales and technical staff with technical support on both a pre- and post-sales basis
• CAD drawings for system integration.
• Provide high end technical support for client projects.
• A/V system commissioning- Biamp, Clearone, BSS and Polycom DSP.
• Assist sales and estimating staff by providing support with system design.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of current and new technologies that company offers.
• Assist with training internal technical or sales staff on new products.
• Some out of town may be required.
• Other duties as required or assigned by company management.

Requirements:

• AVIXA CTS-D certification and/or Crestron DMC-D are ideal, and AutoCAD and Vectorworks are nice to have.
• A minimum of 3 years of working experience in the AV Design field is required.
• MUST be technical and have closing skills.
• Proficiency with Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Polycom, Clearone and Cisco Video Teleconferencing systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable, and well-organized.
• Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing, and implementing skills.
• Able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation and drawing packages
