Pay Range: $33.00 - $53.00 Per hour

Job Shift: DAY SHIFT / 4AM - 12PM PST/ MONDAY - FRIDAY 8HR SHIFTS

MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE / MUST BE ASCP CERTIFIED

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Histotechnologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in specimen collection processing, clinical and research laboratory settings, and possess a strong understanding of laboratory techniques and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

- Prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination using various laboratory procedures

- Embed, cut, stain, and mount tissue samples onto slides for pathological examination

- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment

- Ensure accurate documentation of all procedures performed

- Adhere to quality control and assurance protocols

- Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field

- Certification as a Histology Technician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL)

- Proficiency in anatomy knowledge and laboratory procedures

- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring

- Experience working in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is preferred
