We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst with strong Project Management abilities. This position will work independently, taking ownership of tasks and executing projects with a high degree of autonomy. The ideal candidate will manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and optimal outcomes while balancing both business analysis and project management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Perform detailed data analysis to support decision-making processes within the investment management domain.
  • Data Governance & Controls: Ensure data governance standards and controls are upheld to maintain data integrity across projects.
  • User Interaction: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Communication: Clearly communicate findings, project updates, and solutions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Investment Management: Support and work with investment management teams to deliver impactful solutions aligned with business goals.
  • SQL: Write and execute SQL queries (joins, etc.) for data extraction, analysis, and reporting purposes.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Run and manage meetings, ensuring agendas are followed and actions are clearly communicated and tracked.
  • Manual Testing: Conduct manual testing to validate project deliverables and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Project Management: Manage and lead projects, balancing multiple priorities, setting timelines, and delivering within scope and deadlines.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data analysis and data governance within a financial services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL (joins, queries, etc.) and the ability to apply it in real-world scenarios.
  • Experience in investment management processes and related technology.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to run multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and experience interacting with users and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Manual testing experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience running and facilitating meetings.
