About the Role - We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior OutSystems Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OutSystems development, with extensive experience in API integration and mobile application development. As a Senior OutSystems Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications and solutions using the OutSystems platform. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Application Development: Design, develop, and implement OutSystems applications, including web and mobile applications, ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • API Integration: Develop and integrate APIs for seamless connectivity between OutSystems applications and external systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Mobile Development: Build and optimize mobile applications using OutSystems, focusing on performance, usability, and adherence to platform-specific guidelines.
  • Architecture and Design: Participate in the architectural design of applications and solutions, providing expertise on best practices and OutSystems capabilities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, providing ongoing support and maintenance for OutSystems applications.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and release notes.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance the team’s capabilities.


Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 5+ years of experience in OutSystems development, with a proven track record of delivering complex applications and solutions.


Technical Skills:



  • Extensive experience with OutSystems platform, including both web and mobile development.
  • Strong knowledge of API development and integration, including RESTful APIs and SOAP.
  • Proficiency in mobile application development for iOS and Android using OutSystems.
  • Experience with database design and management, including SQL and NoSQL databases.


Soft Skills:



  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Certifications: OutSystems Certification is highly desirable.
