Environmental Worker


Pride Health is hiring an Environmental Worker for one of its clients in Elkton, Maryland.

This is a 6-week contract with the possibility of an extension with competitive pay and benefits.


Location – Elkton, Maryland (21921)

Length of assignment – 6 weeks (Project-based)

Pay range - $13 - $14 per hour.

Shift – 7 am - 3:30 pm


Job Summary


Cleaning specific Pumps, training will be provided, the workers will be in a specific designated room of the hospital, each pump takes about 20 min to clean, it’s not hard to clean but time-consuming. This is to support another department until they are set up to take over the pump cleaning duties.


Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 1 year of Environmental service experience.
  • Knowledge of hospital/departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ability to read and write at a high school level.
  • Ability to lift and walk with a weight of up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of personal hygiene.
  • Ability to maintain a courteous, service-oriented, helpful attitude throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in a standing position and carry out normally assigned duties for the entire shift.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, especially regarding patients.
