Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mobile Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile app development, particularly with Swift programming, and extensive experience with Apple APIs for encryption and keychain operations. The candidate should also have a proven track record of creating intuitive UI flows and making server-side API calls. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies to contribute to our rapid application development processes.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and Development: Lead the design and development of complex mobile applications using Swift, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness.


  • Apple API Integration: Utilize Apple APIs for encryption, keychain operations, and other functionalities to enhance app security and performance.


  • UI/UX Design: Create and implement smooth and intuitive UI flows that enhance user experience.


  • Server-Side Integration: Develop and manage server-side API calls to ensure seamless data integration and communication between mobile apps and backend systems.


  • Agile Methodologies: Actively participate in Agile and Scrum processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.


  • Code Reviews: Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.


  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.


Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


  • Experience: 4-5+ years of professional experience in mobile software development.


Technical Skills:


  • Proficiency in Swift programming language.


  • Extensive experience with Apple APIs for encryption and keychain operations.


  • Strong knowledge of creating and implementing UI flows.


  • Experience with making server-side API calls.


  • Methodologies: Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development methodologies.


  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.


  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts and solutions effectively.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with additional programming languages such as Objective-C.


  • Knowledge of other mobile platforms (Android) and cross-platform development frameworks.


  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for mobile development.


  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration.
