We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Phlebotomist to join our Clinical Research client in Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric patients and be proficient in blood collection procedures.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on pediatric patients
  • Follow proper procedures for specimen handling and processing
  • Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures
  • Participate in training programs and continuing education opportunities


Qualifications:

  • Certified Phlebotomist with experience working with pediatric patients
  • Knowledge of pediatric phlebotomy procedures and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
