The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for maintaining and improving our clients' irrigation systems, ensuring they are working optimally. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:


$26 to $32 hourly rate Depending on Experience (DOE)

JOB DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:


Irrigation Systems – Inspections, Assessments, Repairs & Installations:


  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on irrigation systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair various types of irrigation systems
  • Seasonal activation and deactivation of irrigation systems
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used on each job
  • Communicate with clients regarding the status of their irrigation systems
  • Ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times on the job site
  • Installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems, including troubleshooting and adjusting sprinkler heads, valves, and timers
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure that project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded


Client Relations:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, property managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Address client inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and responsive manner.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services to existing clients.


Equipment and Inventory Management:


  • Keep track of materials, repair kits and all equipment needed to complete tasks
  • Monitor inventory levels of supplies, materials, and spare parts needed for operations.
  • Coordinate equipment rentals or purchases as needed to support project requirements.



QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Previous experience in the irrigation services field required
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Fluent in English
  • Any previous experience with remote location technology, remote connection devices and/or Weathermatic products preferred
  • Ability communicate with crew members in Spanish is a plus
  • Knowledge of various types of irrigation systems, including drip and sprinkler systems
  • Previous experience and knowledge of sprinkler service installation and repair
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and employees.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions
