Role Summary: The Turnaround and Restructuring Services (TRS) Managing Director is a key leadership position responsible for originating, executing, building out, and leading a TRS team. This team focuses on business restructuring and bankruptcy-related engagements.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company’s business strategies related to turnaround and restructuring services.
  • Provide strategic advice to the board of directors and chairperson.
  • Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement of financial and operational goals.
  • Collaborate with other senior leaders to drive performance improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals specializing in turnaround and restructuring.
  • Engage with distressed companies, assess their financial health, and recommend appropriate strategies.
  • Oversee bankruptcy-related engagements, including negotiations, financial modeling, and operational restructuring.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market insights, and regulatory changes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in turnaround, restructuring, or related fields.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of bankruptcy laws, financial analysis, and operational restructuring.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Turnaround Professional, Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor) are a plus.


Compensation: 160k-200k base plus discretionary bonus.
