Our client is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Partner to join their highly regarded bankruptcy practice in Miami. The practice provides pragmatic, business-oriented solutions to complex financial challenges. Their nationally ranked Insolvency team delivers results-driven representation to clients across industries, combining deep legal expertise with a commitment to understanding their clients' goals.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage bankruptcy, restructuring, and creditors’ rights matters for clients across a wide range of industries.
  • Represent debtors, creditors, stakeholders, and litigation targets in negotiation, mediation, and litigation proceedings.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve optimal outcomes for clients in cases of financial distress or insolvency.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of attorneys and professionals across the firm to address complex legal and business challenges.
  • Provide guidance to junior attorneys and contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice.


Qualifications:


  • Substantial experience in bankruptcy, financial restructuring, and creditors’ rights matters, including court representation.
  • A proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in complex negotiations and litigation.
  • Strong business acumen and a client-centric approach to solving financial disputes.
  • An established portable book of business and a demonstrated ability to develop new client relationships.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar (or eligibility for admission).
