Traffic/Transportation Engineer

Hanover Engineering is an employee-owned engineering firm providing consulting, civil engineering, structural engineering, environmental and surveying services. We are currently seeking a Professional Engineer to manage transportation-related projects at our Bethlehem Office. Candidate shall be a licensed PE in Pennsylvania with a minimum of 5 years professional experience, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and have the ability to manage multiple projects and oversee professional staff. The candidate is expected to attract and maintain clients to grow the company’s Transportation Department. The candidate shall be proficient in various transportation related tasks, including use of traffic engineering software programs such as HCS and Synchro, traffic data collection activities, traffic control and pavement marking design, crash analysis, traffic impact studies, maintenance and protection of traffic design, detour design, signing plans, report preparation and technical writing, CADD design and drafting. Candidate shall be experienced in the preparation of PennDOT related plans and studies and be able to navigate through PennDOT’s ECMS system. Familiarity with State and Federally funded local projects and with local government processes and bidding requirements is a plus. PTOE Certification is preferred.
