Senior Analyst Corporate Finance

LHH Professional Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Analyst Corporate Finance for our Houston area oil and gas client. The ideal candidate will embody a personality that is entrepreneurial yet very analytical and a critical thinker, strategic planner, works well under pressure, excellent communicator, great with numbers and detailed financial modeling. Primary responsibilities of the Senior Analyst Corporate Finance role include:

· Provide analytical support and strategic planning around M&A decision-making

· Evaluate economic value and returns on potential acquisitions

· Build necessary financial models, such as cash flow, portfolio, option pricing and valuation models

· Work closely with the M&A and tax teams to model after tax M&A cash flows

· Key contributor to analytical support for debt financing and refinancing activities

· Familiarity with standard valuation practices around multiples, capital asset pricing models, option pricing models, etc.

· Willingness to create/learn models not already created

Primary requirements include:

· Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics or Engineering)

· 3+ years analytical modeling experience investment banking, M&A, corporate finance, private equity with emphasis in upstream oil & gas

· Strong analytical, quantitative skills and financial modeling skills

· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

· Strong organizational and time management skills
