The SVP, Marketing Director is a member of the Leadership Team focused on developing, implementing, and tracking the Banks strategic marketing program. Must have a deep understanding of strategic planning and the entire marketing ecosystem, its processes, methodologies, latest marketing trends, technologies, and tactics. Collaborates with senior leaders on essential activities to ensure strategic goals and objectives are met. This role requires a self-starter with the ability to roll their sleeves up and work hand-in-hand with 1st Colonial Community Bank team members, leadership, and third-party marketing partners.


ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Strategic Planning: Development of personas, user journeys, and comprehensive marketing plans that align with the Bank’s goals and objectives, ensuring a cohesive strategy across all marketing channels and touchpoints.


  • Marketing Ecosystem: Deep understanding of the integrated marketing ecosystem encompassing both traditional and digital marketing channels and above/below-the-line marketing tactics.


  • Market Research and Analysis: Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer behaviors, and the competitive landscape. Analyzing data and trends to inform and optimize the Bank’s marketing strategies.


  • Campaign Management: Overseeing the ideation, prioritization, creation, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across the Bank’s ecosystem.


  • Website Content Management: Familiarity with web content management systems (CMS). Ideally with an understanding of web/mobile personalization best practices.


  •  Performance Monitoring: Development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the success of marketing strategies and campaigns. Distilling analytical data from campaigns into relevant insights for the optimization of touchpoints and tactics.


  •  Brand & Asset Management: Ensuring consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and channels. Experience with content licensing and creative asset management.


  • Program Planning:  Development and execution of the Bank’s marketing program roadmap, outlining short and long-term goals and milestones for the implementation of future marketing program initiatives and systems.


  • Budget & Resource Management: Developing and managing the marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, and maximizing return on investment (ROI). Monitoring burn and course correcting, as necessary.


  • Vendor Management: Building and maintaining relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to support marketing efforts.


  • Project & Workflow Management: Familiarity with project management best practices and workflow management systems such as Asana, Trello, Monday, Smartsheet, etc.


  • ·Change Management: Familiarity with change management best practices for the onboarding and training of the Bank’s team members and partners on new marketing program initiatives, processes, and systems.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Thorough knowledge of retail banking products, commercial lending products, and consumer/residential lending products.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to roll sleeves up and wear multiple hats.
  • Must possess good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must possess a professional demeanor and professional maturity for working closely with Bank team members and marketing partners.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Champion the 1st Colonial Community Bank’s marketing program and partner with team members and leadership to embrace it and drive the enterprise customer experience.
  • Proven track record of building trust and engaging team members while delivering exceptional customer experience.
  • Visible at key community events and inspire team members to model their behavior.
  • Perform duties in a manner that ensures bank compliance with all applicable state and federal laws.
  • Other duties as assigned.


JOB TYPE: Full-Time – Hybrid  8am – 5 pm M-F (May require occasional weekend or evening hours when necessary)

EXPERIENCE:


• Ideally 5+ of related experience in retail and commercial banking, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• 8+ years of marketing experience, including branding, campaign management, social and digital marketing, and agency relations.


EDUCATION:


• A college degree is preferred but not necessary.


WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands, use fingers, talk, hear, and remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. The employee is required to stand, walk; reach with hands and arms. The employee must have the ability to verbally effectively communicate with staff and customers. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee must have the ability to stay alert and attentive at all times and operate a computer, phone and essential equipment as required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
