DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Creative Director at EBIN NEW YORK, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our brand. This full-time, on-site position in South Hackensack, NJ, involves leading and inspiring the Graphic Design team to create compelling and on-brand visual content. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and creative vision for the Graphic Design team, aligning with overall brand objectives. Collaborate with senior management to integrate design strategies into the broader business plan.


  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of graphic designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Set clear expectations, conduct performance reviews, and ensure the team's professional development.


  • Conceptualization and Execution: Drive the conceptualization and execution of visual concepts for a range of media, including but not limited to logos, advertisements, packaging, websites, and social media graphics. Ensure consistency in brand representation across all channels.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, and other departments to understand business objectives and translate them into compelling visual narratives. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure designs meet marketing and commercial objectives.


  • Quality Assurance: Review and approve design work, providing constructive feedback to ensure alignment with brand guidelines, industry best practices, and creative excellence.


  • Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, design innovations, and competitor activities. Apply insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the design team.


  • Budget Management: Work within allocated budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining high-quality creative output.


QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in graphic design, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative expertise.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bilingual: English/Korean - MUST BE PROFICIENT in BOTH
