Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic finance partner to business units by providing guidance, strategic insight and information to facilitate decision-making
- Build and maintain detailed financial models that track and analyze funnel KPIs and consumption and their impact on the company’s overall performance
- Work closely with accounting and finance partners to ensure accurate data and information gathering
- Drive complex financial modeling development, enhancement and maintenance
- Proactively improve business/product planning process and systems to increase transparency, accountability, and accuracy and drive better decision-making
- Partner with the data team to understand existing data, align on definitions and data sources, and automate reporting infrastructure for real-time insights
- Support monthly financial and performance reporting, review results with partners and identify any business risks and opportunities and recommend course of actions
- Assist with developing finance and business presentations and related supporting materials for investors, board members, and senior leadership
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a business-related field with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting or combination of relevant education, experience, or training
- 5+ years of relevant finance experience. Investment banking, management consulting, accounting, or corporate finance experience are all pluses
- A proven ability to effectively communicate complex concepts in a simple manner
- Expert-level Excel and PowerPoint skills, SQL and dashboarding/visualization tool (e.g. Looker) proficiency is a plus
- Self-starter who is able to deliver in a dynamic environment under tight timelines and changing priorities; must be “hands-on"
- Excellent team player that can also work well independently and with limited direction; highly driven and self-motivated
- High level of business acumen, the ability to analyze and assess opportunities and issues within the business
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
