We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Signature Verification Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for manually verifying bank signature cards to ensure the authenticity of customer signatures for various financial transactions. Your keen eye for detail and ability to analyze signatures accurately will play a crucial role in maintaining the security and integrity of our banking operations. This will be a 8-10 week onsite assignment in Raleigh, NC.


Day to day:

  • Review and compare customer signatures on bank documents with the signatures on file.
  • Conduct thorough examinations of signatures for consistency, accuracy, and authenticity.
  • Identify any discrepancies or irregularities in signatures and escalate them for further investigation.
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines for signature verification to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of signature verification activities and document any findings or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure timely and accurate verification of signatures.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements to enhance signature verification procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in document examination is a plus.
  • Proven experience in manual signature verification or document examination, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to identify inconsistencies in signatures.
  • Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance requirements related to signature verification.
  • Proficient in using basic office software and tools for record-keeping and documentation.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
