Job Description:

As a Dialogue Editor, you will be essential in shaping the auditory narrative of our gaming and film projects. Your role involves meticulously editing and refining dialogue recordings to ensure clarity, emotional impact, and alignment with the visual and interactive elements of our projects. Working closely with voice actors, sound designers, and directors, you will help to create a seamless and immersive audio experience that enhances storytelling and player engagement.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dialogue Editing: Clean, edit, and synchronize dialogue recordings, ensuring high-quality and consistency throughout our projects
  • AI Integration: Utilize www.evertide.ai's AI tools, such as Text to Speech, to augment and enhance dialogue editing processes
  • Collaborative Production: Work with sound designers and directors to maintain the vision and tone of the project, ensuring dialogue complements other audio and visual elements
  • Quality Control: Monitor and adjust dialogue tracks for clarity, mood, and continuity, addressing any issues that arise during the production process
  • Technical Proficiency: Stay updated with the latest audio editing software and techniques, ensuring optimal dialogue quality

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in dialogue editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills
  • Familiarity with digital audio workstations and audio editing tools
  • Experience or interest in AI technologies, especially in relation to audio production
  • Keen attention to detail and a strong ear for audio quality and storytelling
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • A Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory
