Certified Orthotist Prosthetist

Here we grow again We are in need of another Certified Orthotist or Prosthetist Orthotist to join our team Preferably a CPO but CO’s will also be considered. Responsibilities:

- Evaluate patients and assess their needs for prosthetics and orthotic braces and devices

- Design and fabricate custom prosthetic devices for patients

- Fit and adjust prosthetic devices to ensure proper function and comfort

- Provide education and training to patients on how to use and care for their prosthetic devices

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients

- Maintain good notes and work with staff for proper L-code billing.

Skills:

- Post residency experience in orthotics / prosthetics

- Experience working with adult and pediatric patients

- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology

- Proficient in medical terminology related to prosthetics

- Ability to perform physical examinations to assess patient needs

- Excellent patient service skills, including empathy and compassion

- Ability to provide comprehensive patient care throughout the prosthetic process

As a Orthotist / Prosthetist on our team, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals regain their mobility and improve their quality of life. We are a concierge level clinic with the fastest growing patient population in Las Vegas. You will work closely with patients, Techs, our amputee Advocates that work in the field, and utilize your expertise in prosthetics to design, fabricate, and fit custom devices that meet their unique needs. Your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will be essential in assessing patient needs and providing appropriate care. Additionally, your ability to provide exceptional patient service will ensure a positive experience for each individual you work with. You‘ll see both Prosthetic Patients and patients in need of custom bracing and orthotic work although the focus of your day to day will be on Prosthetic Care.

Qualifications

Current CPO Certification through ABC or BOC.
