Job Title: Data Scientist - Hybrid

Location: Thousand Oaks, CA

Pay Rate: $63/hr to $65/hr

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and configuring a multi-user, version-controlled environment hosted on a central server—whether in the cloud or on-premises.
  • This includes installing and configuring R, IRKernel, JupyterLab, and other relevant packages.
  • The successful candidate will ensure that the environment integrates seamlessly with a data warehouse, enabling users to access data via SQL queries.
  • Additionally, the developer will create and maintain a standardized R environment across all users, ensuring reproducibility of results.


Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Working proficiency in R, with a strong ability to integrate and manage packages
  • Demonstrated experience accessing data warehouses using SQL.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as experience in on-premises server management.
  • Proven experience deploying R Shiny applications.
  • Basic understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and pharmacokinetics.
