A leading company in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Team Lead CNC Machinist to oversee and manage CNC machining operations. The ideal candidate is experienced in both lathe and mill machines, with strong technical skills and leadership experience. Working collaboratively, the new team member will enhance operational efficiency by optimizing machining processes while ensuring product quality and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
- Salary + Additional Benefits:$35-$45 (Negotiable DOE)
- 6am-4pm Mon-Thurs (occasional overtime)

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of CNC machinists and provide guidance and support to ensure efficient and accurate machining operations.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with the production manager to develop and optimize machining processes to meet production targets.
- Train and mentor new CNC machinists, ensuring their skills are developed and their potential is maximized.
- Monitor and maintain machine performance, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that finished products meet specifications.
- Analyze production data and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote a culture of safety among the team.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in leadership or supervisory role (3-5 years)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, with expertise in operating both lathe and mill machines
- Working knowledge of Haas and/or Fanuc controls
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
- Attention to detail, able to hold tight tolerances (0.0005")
- Excellent technical skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
