We are seeking an experienced Multi-Family Superintendent to oversee and manage on-site construction activities for multi-family residential projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards. This position involves managing field operations, coordinating subcontractors, and working closely with the project management team to achieve project goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure all work is performed in line with project standards and timelines.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Develop, monitor, and update the project schedule, ensuring all phases of construction are completed on time.
  • Safety Oversight: Implement and enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all site personnel.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that workmanship meets or exceeds project specifications and company standards.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve on-site challenges and unforeseen issues in collaboration with the project management team.
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the project management team, subcontractors, and on-site staff, ensuring clear communication throughout the project.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed daily logs, reports, and records of all site activities, including labor, materials, and progress updates.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage project costs on-site, ensuring alignment with the project budget and reducing waste or inefficiencies.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of supervisory experience in multi-family construction or related field.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.


  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in construction scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30 certification required. First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality control practices in multi-family construction.
