Graphic Designer

Axon is seeking a Graphic Designer/Digital Communications Specialist who will also provide some administrative assistance to our dynamic and fast-growing organization, promoting our brand while improving our online presence and customer engagement through promotion of products and services. Creates and executes design solutions and collateral used for marketing, sales, advertising, and other forms of communication.

Key Responsibilities for Graphic Design/Digital Communications Specialist

The role is anticipated to include, but not be limited, to the following:

• Develop, schedule, and execute various marketing campaigns that can include printed or online advertisements, banners, email blasts and social media posts
• Create and update design materials, images and photos for company website and product flyers
• Generates and manipulates graphic images, animations, sound and video into seamless multimedia programs
• Production and editing of content for website, email, Push and SMS communications
• Assist with the organization of trade show and conference events
• Assist with publication of content in trade publications
• Provide administrative support for a variety of marketing programs and insurance programs (sending notice of cancellations for example) as needed

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Graphic design experience and knowledge of Figma
• Experience with email campaigns using MailChimp or similar product
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail
• Creative, customer-oriented mindset
• Experience with commercial property and casualty insurance is preferred; knowledge of insurance definitions
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills

Work Environment:

We prefer our Graphic Designer/Digital Communications Specialist be located within commuting distance to our Somerville, NJ office and can work a hybrid schedule to be determined for number of days physically in the office.
