Kitchen and Bath Designer

Responsibilities:

  • Create modern and innovative kitchen and bath design concepts for residential spaces.
  • Collaborate with clients to interpret their design dreams and project goals into reality
  • Develop detailed technical plans, including floor plans, and elevations.
  • Strong 3D rendering skills (or strive for this skill)
  • Select and source materials, cabinets, furniture, fixtures, and accessories for projects.
  • Create and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to client's financial constraints.
  • Coordinate and manage the execution of projects.


Requirements:

  • 3-20 years experience in modern kitchen and bath design including client interaction and sales.
  • Made a lot of mistakes, learned from them and is not afraid to make a few more.
  • Strong creativity and a keen eye for innovative modern design aesthetics
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
  • Proficient in using design software such 2020 Design, ProKitchen or other CAD programs.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to interior design.
  • Ability to work within budget constraints while maintaining high-quality design standards.
  • Certified by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (AKBD, CKBD or CKD)
  • An interest in more than kitchen and bathroom design - to include general modern interior design and architecture is a plus.
